App Owner
The user or organization that has signed up for an Ethora account and runs the platform for their project. App Owners hold full administrative control over their App context — unlike the End Users inside it.
General definition
An App Owner is the user or organization who has signed up for an Ethora account and uses the platform for their project. They differ from End Users by having full administrative controls and ownership of their App context — including access to the Admin Panel to manage apps, configure settings and review statistics.
How you become an App Owner
App Owners typically register through Ethora.com and are taken straight to the Admin Panel to set up their first application. Those on a Dedicated (self-hosted) server instead own the entire server infrastructure running Ethora.
While End Users have no Admin Panel access by default, an App Owner can grant granular team access through ACL (Access Control List) settings in the Users section — handing selective administrative privileges to teammates without giving up overall control of the platform.
